House of Commons Speech by Pallvee Shah, CEO, on 29 April 2025

 Our CEO, Pallvee Shah, was honoured to be invited to speak at the House of Commons on Tuesday 29 April, under a series of talks by “Amazing Jains”, organised by the Institute of Jainology. 

She spoke about the impact the Help Change Lives has made on 4 key areas in Kenya- 1) Period poverty – helping more than 15,000 girls with reusable pad kits, 2) Education- sponsoring more than 1,000 children in secondary school plus many special needs, primary, vocational and university students, 3) Medical Treatment – helping many people in Kenya access healthcare that they simply can’t afford, including surgical operations, treatment for infections, diabetes, mental illness and so on and 4) Family Support – helping more than 200 families at a time in Kenya with food, housing, bedding, toilets, small business support and farming support. We also work with SALVE International in Uganda and Shree RajSaubhag Ashram in India, and she volunteers with Shishukunj London.

She ended by noting how incredibly fulfilling and rewarding her work is, and that all it takes is a bit of love and compassion, which are universal values, to Help Change Lives 😊.
